Transform yourself
Being vegetarian is awesome. It can help your kidneys too, especially if you have been diagnosed with CKD.
Patients often struggle to find the right diet for kidneys or are trying to make sense of 'food lists' given to them by their physician, not realizing that a renal diet is much more than a list of do's and don'ts. My intention is to equip patients with tools to be more confident and informed in the way they choose to eat.
Hi there. I'm Dharti.
In case you are wondering, here is how to say my name. I am a Registered Dietitian since 2013. I have a Master's degree in Nutrition from Texas Woman's University, Denton, and have completed my dietetic internship at Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA.

During the course of my professional career, I have worked as a clinical RD at a long term care and rehabilitation facility, as an outpatient RD providing care for diabetes, heart disease, and food allergies, to more recently being an RD for a dialysis facility and CKD clinic. I have seen first hand the decreased quality of life experienced by patients on dialysis. This last gig sparked an entrepreneurial interest to provide nutrition therapy for kidney disease.

Timely nutrition therapy can delay or completely avoid the need for dialysis. That's huge! This is the opportunity window many patients miss, ending up on dialysis, which in many cases, is life-long.
My core philosophy is to help preserve kidney function through plant based nutrition. I am also a certified LEAP therapist, and can help manage food sensitivities and related inflammatory or autoimmune conditions through the LEAP diet protocol.
How does it work?
Coaching means different things to different people. I am a firm believer that each case is unique, and there is no 'one size fits all' for renal diets. The video on my application explains how my program is tailored specifically to meet the needs of different clients and offers more guidance than just a list of foods to eat or not to eat.

I would encourage you to fill out the application below to see if we are a good fit to work together. I will get in touch with you within 72 hours of receiving your application.
